Mini Prayer flag

Quilting Arts had a submission call for mini prayer flags and this is what I submitted. I have made the bigger ones to hang out on the fence but these are really tiny. Having just finished the Frozen Charlotte hearts I used the same technique to create five prayer flags.
Tea dyed muslin and cheese cloth. I added had embroidery and the words are stamped onto muslin strips.

Graphic 45 Bohemian Bazaar

Finally, another one done. I have had this paper for some time now and just got around to getting this paper bag mini completed. Tons of room for photos.

Table View

A view of my messy work table full of projects I hope to work on and maybe finish a few today.
Junk journal, toe shoes, art journal and ironing!

Found the toe shoes at Savers for $4.99. It was a good day!

Vintage Junk Journal

This is a journal I made for my swap partner on swap-bot. Sort of a cross between a junk journal, Smash book and daily journal.

Cover with the Statue of Liberty and beautiful metal charm.

Page with Tim Holtz paper clip.

Washi Tape border

Pocket page with opening at the top and stitching and bull dog clip

The bird flips up to hold additional photos

Pins and Needles

I am teaching a couple of classes next week and just finished up the samples. The first is a "Spoolie" pincushion. Students will make either the heart or the bird. The second is a Linen Needle Book with embroidery on the front and yo-yo's on the back.

Completed!

Chair number two is done and looks great! The fabric is from Waverly and I found it at Old Time Pottery for $2.96 a yard! A steal. The only catch you have to take the whole piece, so it could measure anywhere from 1 yard to 10 yards. Mine was a little under 5 yards. Still a great deal.

Chair Update

Before and after of the first chair. I think it turned out amazing. It has been awhile since I have reupholstered anything so I am pleased. Moving on to  chair two!
Before

After-I still need to add trim around the back.

Back-Also needs the trim.
I found the fabric at Jo-Ann's on clearance for $2.99 a yard and purchased 2 yards. The foam was the most expensive thing to replace.
Thanks for looking.
