Vintage Junk Journal

This is a journal I made for my swap partner on swap-bot. Sort of a cross between a junk journal, Smash book and daily journal.

Here are the first set of cards I received in the Art Journal Prompt Swap over on crafster.org.

So the swap was to put a journal prompt or art journal technique on one side and then your interpretation on the other. Red and random lines for the first two.

A view of what I am working on today. I am in a swap at crafster.org making art journal prompt and technique cards. On one side of the cards you write the technique or prompt and then create your version on the other side. Good way to get new techniques and prompts. I have 30 to create by January 16th! The other are art journals drying.

Here are a few of the pages that I have been working on in the last few days. I like to work in three different books each with different size pages. One or two can be drying and I can work in the other one(s).

These altered journals are for a swap on crafster.org. If you have not checked them out please take a look they have something for everyone. The cuffs are for a sale I participated in this past weekend as well as for a crafster swap.

 Sorry about the pins on the next pictures but I was in a rush to get them photographed and tagged. Usually I forget to take pictures and regret it later but not this time. Next time I will stage them differently but this works for now.

New Swap Pictures

Happy Thursday to everyone. Hope you have exciting plans for this weekend. I am looking forward to a nap or two so I can catch up on some much needed rest. I wanted to share the pictures from the 

most recent swap I participated in on crafster.org. The theme was "Jump Start Your Art Journal". Your partner chose from a list of art journal themes and made the journal (first time making for many of us) and embellished no more than half the pages. My partner chose steampunk from my list and the follow is what she created. I really love this journal. The pages are tea dyed watercolor paper.
