Here is a sweet little pillow that I finished this week. I found the embroidery in with a stack of vintage linens I purchased at a flea market. I added red piping and used a vintage pillow case for the backing and back.
The stack included two other panels. One features a Dutch boy and girl dancing and the third has a farmer with a basket walking through a garden. I am pretty sure they were done by the same person but not sure if they were part of a larger project or not. I am finishing both of them off as pillows as well. This Hi Diddle- Diddle would be cute in a babies room.
I love your pillow! It is rare to see a wonderful piece of embroidery and this is gorgeous. So beautifully created. I am now a follower of your blog and look forward to return visits. I invite you to join me as well on my blog at http://atastefultouch.blogspot.com
