I have been busy making ATC's for a few swaps that I am in on swap-bot.com.
If you have not heard of swap-bot please take and look and you may find
a swap that you are interested in joining. It is a little addictive! I
started out with PC (post cards) swaps and moved quickly to ATC's. You
may remember that I finished a year of ATC's in 2012 and I am always
looking for a way to display and store the many that I make and trade.
Here is what I came up with. I have a tutorial in the works and hope to post this week.
I found this box at Wal-Mart. It was made to hold the wax melts that you put in those pots and it was free. All the better for me. This was my practice box and I covered it in circus themed paper. |
I loved your clever idea of using this box to store your ATC's in. It is great to repurpose these items...I figure someone spent $$ designing this packaging...lets use it some more! Before finding a suitable storage tower for my ink pad collection I used my old plastic cassette holders and added cardboard dividers so the pads would set better. It worked great. I will be keeping my eye out next trip to Walmart :)
