All 365

I forgot to include a picture of all 365 of the ATC's done in 2012. Sounds like such a big number but the box looks so small.

A couple of favorites.

This is a picture that I transferred onto contact paper and then placed on a playing card.

Happy (almost) New Year

One of my resolutions for 2012 was to create an artist trading card everyday. Well, here they are-all 365 of them. I must confess that some days I completed 4 or 5 and some days none. Here are the first and last cards and a few from the middle.

Crafty Chicks Sale

The annual Crafty Chicks sale was this past Saturday. I have participated in this event for three years now and it is always a lot of fun. Sales were down a bit this year but it was still a good day.
This was the booth in the morning. Mostly vintage finds and handmade items.

Sold the green Pyrex mixing bowls but not the cabinet.

Only one cuff left at the end of the day!

Hanky Holder

I found this vintage spoon holder at my local Salvation Army and knew exactly what I was going to to make. I dug out my collection of vintage hankies, some that had belonged to my Grandmother and others that I have collected and painted the holder this lovely shade of blue. Tucked my hankies in and it looks great. Off to find a few more spoon holders.

ATC Update

As you know one of my art goals for this year centered around making one ATC everyday. I figured trying to get some creative time in everyday was a good thing. This is September, holy buckets, where did the time go! I did try everyday to make an ATC but found it easier and more time efficient to make several at once. I have not counted them recently but here is the box that they are housed in.

New additions.

Here are some new ATC's I received from a SWAP on crafster. It was a "work you theme" swap so my partners made a card from one of my three themes. I chose twisted circus , saint  and  steampunk. I love how different they all are.

Love, love, love this paper from Graphic 45 and had to make a book. This is a black policy envelope book from 7 Gypsies. A little long on pictures but this paper is so amazing!
Cover-the mirror on the charm to the left is one my mom made.
